  • Wayne Tanaka Elementary School has a bold new addition to its campus, thanks to a recent mural project curated by Graffiti Park Las Vegas. In collaboration with local artist ToneCastle, the vibrant piece was painted on a 160-square-foot wall and now serves as a powerful visual tribute to the school’s identity and spirit.

The mural features a dynamic dragon, representing the school’s mascot in a fierce and empowering way. Alongside the artwork is the school’s proud namesake, “Tanaka Dragons,” boldly displayed to reinforce school pride and unity. The piece is brought to life with clean, energetic striping in the school’s official colors, tying the design into the broader visual language of the campus.

This project is more than just a colorful wall—it’s a celebration of school culture and a symbol of strength, creativity, and community. With Graffiti Park’s curation and ToneCastle’s signature style, the mural has transformed the space into a source of inspiration for students and staff alike.

At Wayne Tanaka Elementary, the dragon has officially taken flight—and it’s a sight to behold.
