Richard Priest Elementary School in Las Vegas has a fresh burst of color and character, thanks to five new murals installed by Graffiti Park in collaboration with artist Minkser. Designed to greet students at the entrance of each classroom pod, the murals bring the school’s beloved panda mascot to life in creative and heartwarming ways.
Each mural captures a different moment in the pandas’ world. One wall bursts with energy, featuring multiple pandas engaging in creative activities—running, drumming, reading, and drawing—reflecting the diverse interests and talents of the school community. Another depicts a panda lounging peacefully, while a separate mural shows a panda enjoying a snack of bamboo. A fourth mural portrays two pandas playing together by a creek, adding a sense of friendship and adventure, and the final mural offers another charming scene of a panda munching on bamboo.
Completed over the course of three days and covering roughly 500 square feet of wall space, the project adds both personality and warmth to the school environment. These murals not only brighten the halls but also celebrate the spirit, creativity, and togetherness that Richard Priest Elementary embodies.
