Graffiti Park recently returned to Jo Mackey iLead Academy for the Digital Sciences to complete a second round of vibrant murals that celebrate the school’s spirit, values, and imagination. Using the same talented team of artists from the first project, the newest installation adds color and creativity to the halls while reinforcing Jo Mackey’s core identity.
One of the key features of this project was the reimagining of the school’s 12 Core Values. This time, the design was inverted in color from the original mural—bringing visual contrast while keeping the message consistent. Another wall expands on the theme, pairing the 12 Core Values with a powerful lion illustration, symbolizing the school’s mascot and pride.
In the spirit of innovation, a robotics-themed mural was also introduced. It features playful, imaginative LEGO-inspired elements that reflect the school’s digital sciences focus and hands-on learning approach. Adding a touch of fun and inspiration, one mural shows a group of lions crossing a bridge—a creative nod to Hakuna Matata and the idea of moving forward without fear.
The entire project was completed in just four days, covering over 500 square feet of wall space. These new murals not only brighten the campus visually but also deepen the connection students have to their school’s values, mission, and creativity.
