H.P Fitzgerald Elementary School Pt.5- Garden Wall

  • Our latest project at HP Fitzgerald Elementary School marks our fifth collaboration with this campus—and one of the most meaningful. Nearly a decade ago, the school’s garden wall featured a bright, nature-inspired mural with large butterflies, tall grass, and colorful flowers. Over time, the desert sun faded the artwork, and the school reached out to us with a special request: restore what could be saved, reinvent what couldn’t, and bring the wall back to life.

Over four days, our team carefully repurposed the original elements, preserving the butterflies and natural scenery while refreshing the colors and details. We expanded the floral landscape with new blooms, creating a fuller, more vibrant garden scene that feels both familiar and brand new. To give the area a stronger identity, we added “Fitzgerald Children’s Earth Garden” lettering along the top and bottom, framing the mural and highlighting the purpose of the space.

Covering just under 1,000 square feet, this refreshed mural not only brightens the campus but also honors the artwork that came before it—blending old and new into a welcoming space for students to learn, grow, and explore.
