  • Bringing Color to Robert O. Gibson Middle School: A Collaborative Mural Project-

Robert O. Gibson Middle School in Las Vegas, Nevada recently received a beautiful addition to its campus in the form of 3 stunning murals. Commissioned by Graffiti Park Las Vegas in partnership with the Clark County School District, the project brought together 4 talented local artists to create an outdoor display of art and inspiration.

The project took 4 days to complete and covered 2600 square feet of space. The murals were installed in two different locations on campus: the library and the courtyard.

The library mural is a beautiful nature scene, depicting a serene forest with a river running through it. This mural serves as a reminder to students of the importance of taking care of our planet and being mindful of our impact on the environment.

The courtyard mural is a huge namesake and bear logo, representing the school’s mascot. The Bear sits in front of a large “GIBSON” lettering, which is a representation of the school name. This mural serves as a source of pride and school spirit, and it will be enjoyed by all students, staff, and visitors to the school.

The project was a true collaboration, with students, staff, and local residents coming together to help paint and install the murals. The finished product is a stunning display of art and inspiration that will be enjoyed by the Robert O. Gibson Middle School community for years to come.

The Robert O. Gibson Middle School mural project is a shining example of the power of art to bring a community together and promote positivity and inspiration. We at Graffiti Park Las Vegas are thrilled to have been a part of this project in partnership with the Clark County School District and look forward to continuing to create opportunities for public art and community engagement in the Las Vegas area.
